The Legal Advocacy Program provides free legal support to low-income individuals and families in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton. The program offers one-on-one advice ranging from referrals and summary guidance to full representation, depending on client needs. Support covers areas such as housing and residential tenancy disputes, employment and EI issues, income assistance and disability benefit appeals, CPP-D/PWD appeals, and consumer or debt challenges. The Legal Advocate also provides public education, mediation support, and referrals, helping community members understand and protect their rights.
Individuals may self-refer or we accept referrals from other social services agencies.
