Better at Home

For many seniors, staying in their own home is about more than comfort. It’s about independence, familiarity, and remaining part of the community they’ve built their life in. The Better at Home program provides the kind of everyday, practical help that makes that possible, so that getting older doesn’t have to mean giving things up.
Staying Home, Staying Connected

Practical, non-medical support helping seniors across the Sea to Sky Corridor age in place with dignity.

Staying Home, Staying Connected

The Better at Home program helps seniors aged 65+ remain independent by supporting them with simple, non-medical day-to-day tasks. Services include light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, friendly visiting, minor home repairs, and yard work, all designed to help seniors stay connected and age in place with dignity. The program operates year-round across Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, and surrounding communities, offering support on an as-needed basis.
