The Homeshare program connects adults with developmental disabilities to safe, supportive homes by matching them with qualified caregivers who open their homes and provide individualized support. Homeshare contractors ensure safety, daily well-being, and a stable living environment while fostering independence, personal choice, and community inclusion. The program offers ongoing training and hands-on support from the SSCS Community Living team, creating meaningful, long-term living arrangements that enhance quality of life.
This program is funded by Community Living BC (CLBC) and based on a referral to SSCS. A facilitator for CLBC will work with families to provide information around eligibility and supports for individuals.
