Community and Employment Services program supports adults with developmental disabilities in preparing for, finding, and maintaining meaningful employment. It promotes inclusion by helping participants build job skills and by assisting employers who hire or wish to hire adults with developmental disabilities. The program emphasizes the belief that everyone has the right to work and lead a fulfilling life, offering individualized guidance throughout the employment journey.
This program is funded by Community Living BC (CLBC) and based on a referral to SSCS. A facilitator for CLBC will work with families to provide information around eligibility and supports for individuals.
