Community Inclusion & Outreach

At the heart of this program is the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to belong, participate, and feel valued in their community. Whether it’s learning a new skill, joining a group activity, or simply feeling more confident navigating daily life, the focus is always on what matters most to each individual participant.
Inclusion Starts with Participation

Supporting adults with developmental disabilities in the Sea to Sky Corridor

Inclusion Starts with Participation

The Community Inclusion program at Sea to Sky Community Services supports individuals to explore recreational activities, volunteer opportunities and social connections that reflect their interests, goals and strengths. Our focus is on fostering community connection and inclusion, empowering each person to live a fulfilling, engaged and self-directed life within their community. It offers both individual and group opportunities to strengthen daily living skills—such as cooking, transportation, communication, and accessing community resources—while fostering social connections and community inclusion. Participants engage in recreational, educational, and volunteer activities designed to enhance quality of life and promote belonging.
