The Supported Child Development program partners with daycares, preschools, family childcare providers, and out-of-school care programs to create inclusive environments for children who require additional support. Services may include consultation, individualized planning, and when needed, extra staffing to help meet each child’s unique needs. The program also works closely with families, offering guidance and resources to help them find the childcare setting that best supports their child.
Children enrolled in licensed childcare settings who require additional supports may be eligible. Referrals can be initiated by caregivers or childcare providers through completion of an observation or referral form to begin the support process.
