Raising a child with autism or other additional needs can place significant emotional, physical, and financial demands on families. The Respite Program helps ease some of that pressure by providing funding that allows caregivers to take a break and recharge. Families can use respite funding in ways that best meet their needs, including childcare, specialized recreation programs, travel to medical appointments or specialists, and educational opportunities that support their child’s development. The program is designed to strengthen families and help ensure caregivers have the support they need to continue providing the best care possible.
Eligible to current clients of Sea to Sky Community Services.
This is a free program funded by the John Gordon Autism Foundation.
