The Key Worker Program helps families access the information, services, and support they need to help their child thrive. We provide individualized, family-centred support for children and youth experiencing challenges with learning, daily living skills, mental health, social development, or conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and intellectual disabilities. Support may include service planning, advocacy, referrals, school and service-provider collaboration, caregiver education, life skills support, and guidance through assessment, diagnosis, and transition-to-adulthood processes.
For children 4-18 years of age experiencing complex behaviours or challenges. No diagnosis is required.
This is a free program funded by the Province of British Columbia.
