Early Intervention Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy

Every child develops differently — and sometimes the right therapeutic support at the right time can open doors that might otherwise feel out of reach. Our physical and occupational therapists work in partnership with families to meet children where they are and help them build the skills that matter most in their everyday lives.

Play-based physical and occupational therapy for children.

Helping Every Child Move, Engage, and Thrive

Our Early Intervention Physical and Occupational Therapies program supports children from birth to age 6 or entry into kindergarten who experience delayed motor skills, sensory processing challenges, or other developmental needs. Pediatric physical therapists help build movement, coordination, strength, balance, and endurance through play-based, family-centered approaches. Pediatric occupational therapists focus on fine motor skills, feeding, sensory regulation, and social-emotional development to support children in daily activities and positive interactions.

Eligibility & Referral

Families with children from birth to age 6 (or before entry into kindergarten) who are identified as being at risk for, or experiencing, a developmental delay in one or more areas, such as language, movement, or cognitive development, may be eligible for this program.

Referrals can be made by caregivers, childcare centres, or pediatric professionals with family consent.
