The Child and Youth Life Skills program offers one-to-one and group opportunities for youth with developmental disabilities ages 12–18 to build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections. Through a variety of community-based activities and recreational experiences, youth develop social skills while exploring new environments and making friends. The program focuses on accessibility, inclusion, and creating positive opportunities for participation, helping each young person grow and thrive within their community.
This program requires a referral from the Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD). Child must reside locally and be between the ages of 12 and 18.
This is a free program funded by the Province of British Columbia.
