Sexual Abuse Intervention Program (19 & under)

Healing is possible, and it starts with feeling safe enough to begin. The Sexual Abuse Intervention Program creates that foundation for young people and the families supporting them, offering a space where children can process their experiences at their own pace, with care that is designed specifically for them.

Evidence-based counselling and support for young people healing from sexual abuse or exploitation.

Compassionate Therapeutic Care for Children and Youth

The Sexual Abuse Intervention Program (SAIP) provides therapeutic counselling and group support for children and youth under 19 who have experienced, or are suspected to have experienced, sexual abuse, exploitation, or assault. The program also supports young people showing sexual behaviour concerns related to trauma. Services include short- or long-term counselling for children, as well as support for non-offending parents, guardians, and family members. SAIP uses evidence-based approaches such as trauma-focused CBT, play therapy, and expressive therapies.
